Acron Group, a Russian vertically integrated mineral fertiliser producer, participated in the anniversary Agriculture Day organised by Rijk Zwaan, a company focused on selective vegetable breeding and seed supply to growers.
The special event aimed at raising the awareness and skills of the growers of salad greens, cabbage, root crops, radishes, cucumbers, celery, leeks, peppers and aubergines was held as usual at Rijk Zwaan’s demonstration station in Moscow region.
More than 100 agribusinesses, farms and agro-processing companies from across Russia attended the event.
Experts from Rijk Zwaan explained and demonstrated the advantages and features of the crops grown on the plots and plastic-film greenhouses specially prepared for the event. They also presented new vegetable hybrids.
Acron was invited as a mineral feed expert. Together with Rijk Zwaan’s specialists, it has developed plant nutrition programmes to maximise the potential of hybrids.
Acron’s representatives introduced a new line of water-soluble fertilisers, including Ammonium Calcium Nitrate Grade A Premium and Ammonium Calcium Nitrate Grade C, which were used in both demonstration greenhouses and open field plots.
Visitors to the Agriculture Day were impressed by the high quality of Acron’s product samples: their excellent solubility, uniform granule size and stable chemical composition.
