Acron introduces Mobile Patrol for all main operations

19.07.2024 | News

Acron Group has completed the implementation of the Mobile Patrol system for time-efficient equipment monitoring at its Veliky Novgorod production site.

All the facility’s shops and subdivisions have attached NFC tags to equipment, installed data collection terminals, logged on and are now effectively using the system. As part of the solution, Acron has installed around 3,500 NFC tags to reduce walkdown time and increase data accuracy.

The Mobile Patrol app, used by 900 maintenance workers, efficiently collects, stores and processes data from equipment inspections. The solution automates the transmission, storage and processing of collected data in an integrated system, providing the Company’s managers with up-to-the-minute walkdown results and statistics. The app works both online and offline, providing uninterrupted access to data.

Acron’s IT specialists fully integrated the solution with the equipment maintenance and repair module of the Company’s ERP IAS system, creating a transparent end-to-end process – from equipment maintenance and repair planning to compiling purchase lists and maintaining production procurement schedules.

Mikhail Yaskevich, Acron’s Chief Engineer, welcomes the production digitalisation projects. ‘Mobile Patrol has already become an indispensable tool in the daily work of all the Company’s units. This solution increases the efficiency of maintenance personnel and detects defects in equipment at an early stage, thus improving production results’.

Denis Guzanov, Head of Acron’s IT Department, sees Mobile Patrol as a key part of Acron Group’s digital transformation strategy. ‘Together with the Leading Engineering School at Novgorod University, we continue to develop additional mobile walkdown solutions that deliver further business benefits by optimising labour costs and improving control’.
